Why coconut wax?
There are many reasons coconut wax is best for wax melts and candles. Coconut wax is obtained through a natural process. It is a renewable source that does not contain pesticides or fertilizers making it non-toxic. It has an outstanding hot and cold scent throw. Coconut wax burns cleaner and longer than other waxes, it is often overlooked in this industry as it is more expensive than all other waxes, but here at Grá Essentials we find using coconut wax is well worth it as we are able to produce the best quality wax melts for our company and for you the customers.
What are wax melts?
What are they used for? To my surprise this is a question quite a few people ask. I have always had a love for wax melts so i assumed everyone knew what they were. Wax melts are wick-less pieces of wax also known as wax tarts, they are usually scented with different kinds of fragrance oils or essential oils. The wax is placed on top of a wax warmer/burners to melt. Once the wax is melted it fills the area of the chosen aroma. They are a much safer alternative to fragranced candles.
